The Supreme Court has adopted a formal ethics code for the first time in its history, bowing to public and congressional critics who demanded such a policy in the wake of reports about unreported luxury travel by justices and influence campaigns aimed at the court.

All nine of the court’s current justices endorsed the code, which generally tracks existing rules for lower court judges but includes some special provisions addressing the Supreme Court’s “unique institutional setting.”

Wow! Even that African American guy who refuses to be a house boy for the Dem Swampcult? Word's been that he's filthy! As po'd say, EFFINinbelievable!!!!!

Anything about who is supposed to hold them accountable to it, Curt...?

"Wow! Even that African American guy who refuses to be a house boy for the Dem Swampcult?" -Hate

So... not being a corrupt justice taking free handouts from billionaires would somehow make Thomas into a "house boy" for the Democrats...?

Your flaming racism is disgusting, Bill. Plus you're being a blather-spewing, incoherent moron.

    Ponderer,
Nope. No mechanism to enforce non-corrupt behavior. That’s how they got Thomas and Alito to sign on.

I remember, when the Court was foisting woke politics on America, that the Justices...including that evil non-EFFINhouseboy...were so honest they proved that Gandhi and Mother Theresa were shysters.

But, now, since the Court rediscovered the Tenth Amendment...

Bahahahahahahahahahaha baha baha haha baha ha!!!!!

    You wokesters are sooooooooooooo EFFINcute.

I didn't think so. The whole thing is a pathetic joke. So there's nothing at all stopping any of the conservative justices from continuing to accept all the billionaires' bribes they've been availing themselves of for decades. And how dare anyone have the impudence to raise an eyebrow about any of it!

There's Hate's "Swamp". In all its glory.

If that post came from Curt, I'd suspect he'd be joshin. But, regarding the sporting of humor, po, you're known to be impotent.

Lead and curt- I understand why this could have been originally thought of. The issue that came to mind is... did the then SCOTUS bribe others to make that original decision? I would think these folks above all should be beyond reproach.

  8. by Ponderer on November 14, 2023 8:02 am

She shouldn't be using her court staff to do any of that, Bill. It's wrong and not very ethical at all.

What...? Did you think that I'd support such a thing because it was one of the liberal justices and you could catch me being hypocritical...? Just because that's the kinda thing you do all the time?

You need to stop laboring under the misapprehension that everyone acts like a conservative MAGA Republican, like you do Bill. This is how your projection gets you into trouble.
